One Life to Live, the winner of five awards at this past weekend's Daytime Emmys, joins the Joytv 10 lineup today.
The long-running and critically acclaimed daytime drama airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. PST on Joytv 10 in Vancouver.
Toronto native Susan Haskell, who plays the oft-victimized Marty Saybrooke, won her second Daytime Emmy Award on Sunday as Outstanding Lead Actress.
OLTL tied with All My Children for most awards at the 2009 Daytime Emmys. In addition to Haskell's win, the series picked up trophies for best directing, best costume design, best makeup and best original song.
Set in the fictional community of Llanview, Pennsylvania, OLTL follows the ever-changing fortunes of the Buchanan, Lord and Cramer families. Multiple Emmy Award winner Erika Slezak stars as town matriarch Viki Lord Davidson.
Created in 1968 by legendary producer Agnes Nixon, OLTL has been lauded for its diverse cast and characters, its innovative, risk-taking storylines and its groundbreaking exploration of social issues. Soap Opera Digest named it the best show of 2008.
